Installation in shipping container for Estacionarte,
Mexico City, Mexico, 2.5 x 2.5 x 5 M, 2009
In this installation for Estacionarte, an annual exhibition that takes place in shipping containers in Mexico City, traffic cones become readymade viewing devices, or conoscopes, when they are mounted on light boxes with backlight prints. Through them, viewers take a visual journey from the microcosmic to the macrocosmic scale, in which they may discover formal relationships between molecules, human-made objects, and galaxies.
